Robert Munnelly Moderates Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA) Webinar On Retail Markets
BOSTON, MA—Davis Malm shareholder Robert J. Munnelly, Jr. moderated and provided insights for the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association’s (NECA) October 26th webinar, “Hot Topics in Retail Markets: Current Challenges and Advancements.”
The webinar was focused on recent retail market developments, as well as the current status of, and future prospects for, Massachusetts’ one-of-a-kind Clean Peak Renewables Standard and other renewable portfolio standard developments across the Northeast.
Mr. Munnelly is a regulatory lawyer with extensive experience handling legal issues faced by clients in highly regulated industries. He represents competitive energy and communications companies nationally and routinely represents clients in a wide range of regulatory issues. He also has substantial experience working with companies in other regulated industries, including helping clients navigate the cannabis licensing process in Massachusetts.
His data security practice focuses on advising clients on developing and updating Written Information Security Plans, responding to possible security incidents under laws of Massachusetts and other states, preparing data-related policies such as terms of service and privacy policies, and advising on new and emerging data requirements in foreign and U.S. jurisdictions.
Mr. Munnelly has been an active participant in NECA events and conferences since 2001. He is currently a member of NECA’s Board of Directors and serves as Co-Chair of the Retail Markets Committee and the Executive Committee as Corporate Secretary.
